A music-making tool called Caustic 3 draws inspiration from rack-mount sampler/synthesizer equipment.
Everything is real-time and mobile device friendly.

Add up to 14 computers from the following categories to your rack to build it:

* Virtual analog subtractive synthesizer (subsynth)

Multi-sample wave synthesizer: PCMSynth

* BassLine - a monosynth akin to the 303

* BeatBox - an 8-channel drum machine with sampling

PadSynth is a pad synthesizer with harmonics.

* 8BitSynth is a synthesizer that solves 8-bit equations.

Fully programmable and routable modular synthesizer

* Organ - a tonewheel organ like a Hammond with a rotary speaker

* 8-band harmonic vocoder; vocoder;

* FMSynth - a 3-operator FM synthesizer in the DX style

Users are allowed to submit their own WAV files for use in the PCMSynth, BeatBox, and Vocoder, and all files are kept on the user-accessible storage.

Additionally, the PCMSynth can load FL Studio mobile instruments (.instr,.ZIP), SFZ, and SoundFont files (.sf2,.sf2).

On devices running at least Android 3.2 and supporting USB host mode, class-compliant USB MIDI controllers can be connected using a USB OTG cable.

This Caustic version is a demo. Demo mode has no time restriction, however saving and exporting are disallowed. Your current music will be automatically saved by the app in between sessions.
